Introduction to electrical laboratory equipment and instrumentation: analog and digital meters, oscilloscopes, bridges, power supplies, function generators. Measurement of voltage, current, and power in DC networks and in single-phase and three-phase AC networks. Verification of Kirchoff's laws. Measurement of resistance, capacitance, and inductance. Prerequisites: EG 220 and credit for or concurrent registration in EH102. |
